Manage The LED Screen The Easy Way

Last week I was asked through the yellow note at the top-right of the homepage a very common question: how to send photos and videos from PC to the LED screen and which tools are needed.

To answer this question, I must first clarify one thing: each manufacturer has its own technology to control the LED screen, so the answer to this question will vary depending to the manufacturer you ask to.

Many manufacturers do it in the following way:

  • they connect the PC to a Control System (usually an external rack)
  • they connect the Control System to the LED screen
  • the Control System elaborates the PC input and show it on the display

At Euro Display instead, we do it the following way:

  • we connect the PC directly to the LED screen

See the difference? That's why it is a real Plug-And-Play system, because you simply connect the PC to the LED screen and that's it.
Once the physical connection is setup, your screen will visualize anything is visualized on your PC monitor (when I say anything, I really mean anything! Videos, photos, DVD, television, websites, icons, desktop... you name it).

In order to save you time and money, Euro Display developed a scheduling software that allows you to easily create a Playlist. By simply selecting the videos and the pictures you want, you can create a "movie" that will play over and over again.

With this software (called EDplayer) you can schedule the exact date and time for each video: for example you can set an advertising for a discotheque to be broadcasted only on Fridays and Saturdays. Or you can play the ad from a restaurant only in the evenings from 19h00 to 22h00.
