Epic. I cant find a better word to describe these days at Euro Display.

Indeed we are Moving Into Our New Facilities and assembling what will be The Biggest Ledwall of South America at the same time.

If you ever moved your company to a new building, you know what a Huge Effort this represent.

But if you never moved, just Try To Imagine how much work you need to: 1) decide best layout, 2) deal with bureaucracy, 3) organize new intranet, 4) paint and furniture the new spaces, 5) Make Everybody Happy, 6) stay in the budget, 7) be ready by end of the year...

Can you imagine it? Ok, now multiply that By 10 Times. That's what it takes to move to a new building!

On top of that, add the assembling of a 126 Square Meters digital billboard which will be shipped by end of the year and installed by the first week of January 2007 (further details will be posted in the next few days).

Now, do you undestand why "Epic" is the best word I could find to descibe these days at Euro Display?

To survive such a combination of massive tasks (to be accomplished all at once), I think you need Great People With Great Motivation.

So whats so special? Well, Ive always knew We Have A Great Team... but in these last few days Ive Been Astonished by the Commitment, Passion and Teamwork that anyone demonstrated. Actually I got moved. Seriously.

These last few days I loved to be "on the field" to actually Feel The Energy and see the electronic billboard being built, module after module after module... and I wish our customers could have been there with me.

This way they could better understand what we really mean when we state "We Have Over 25 Years Of Expertise And Passion".

This short post (I have very limited access to the internet) is not meant to be a sort of auto-celebration. So please, dont get me wrong. I just felt the need to Give Public Credit to our Great Staff Of Skilled Professionals.

Today Euro Display delivered 64 modules of proEVENT® professional LED billboards with 7mm virtual pitch.   The product has been delivered in response to the growing demand for temporary application LED giant screens in the Professional Rental & Staging Market.

Our proEVENT series was designed specifically for the rental industry and it is the result of the Over 25 Years Expertise of Euro Display’s team in the LED maxi-screen visualization industry combined with the constant close collaboration with some of the Biggest Companies in the Rental and Staging business.
 
The proEVENT series includes 2 different modules, both having as distinctive feature the Fast, Auto-Centring Dual-Locking System that allows screen to be build by two people only even on an unbalanced floor (Please Click Here to see how to mount a 3x2 mt LED video wall in 11 minutes!). 

• The proEVENT® professional   is a 1 x 0.75 mt module (4:3 ratio) which is The Only One In The World With Totally Hidden Cables, both for video input and power supply (no visible cables at all).   Each module also integrate An Exclusive Control LCD Display that allows check-up and setting of several parameters in local without any cable.
  
• The proEVENT® light   is a 1 x 1 mt module, which integrate (among other features) an higher impact resistance front protection system and the Embedded Working-Hours Counter. Furthermore it allows the manual and/or automatic addressing on each single module.

The Success Of Several Products launched in the past 12 months, already had a deep impact on the company which will move into the new facilities within the next few weeks. The new buildings are over 3 times bigger then the current headquarter and are The Physical Prove of Euro Display achievement.
 
The Market Is Recognising The Quality of Euro Display products and its price/performance ratio. Furthermore, the Italian Design add a stylish dress to the high technology embedded in the LED modules.

Last month Euro Display installed a 480 x 320 pixel electronic billboard near the wonderful Sicilian Sea - as you can see in the picture above.

The Giant Screen is a 3 x 2 meters structure assembled in one single piece (therefore not modular) with a Visual Pixel Pitch of 6mm.

This installation, with such amazing surroundings, was A Real Challenge for our technical department, For Three Main Reasons:

• BRIGHTNESS - Sicily is probably the most luminous region in Italy! For this reason we had to make sure the LEDs used for the LED billboard would have been bright enough to contrast the direct sun light.
  
• HEAT - When the warmest Italian Sun face the installation most of the day, the situation is very similar to an Arab country or a Semi-Desertic region. But as you know, in order to guarantee the long life-time of LEDs it is necessary to keep the internal temperature as low as possible.
  
• SALTINESS - The Giant Screen was installed just a few meters from the Sea (as you can see from the picture) with all the huge problem of corrosion that the saltiness can bring.

Our technical department was able to Successfully Overcome All These Problems - unfortunately I can't tell you exactly HOW because these are confidential information, not meant to be shared on a public website!

Last week Euro Display installed a 7x5 meters LED video wall (35 m²) with a 10mm virtual pitch resolution in the City of Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia (Prince Turki Street cross with Prince Faisal Street, in the corner of Prince Sultan Mosque - opposite to Meridian Hotel).

The installation have been Very Successful and the customer was very satisfied with the final result.

For this particular installation, Eudo Display together with its customer designed a Special Cooling System that could preserve the LEDs and contrast the extreme weather conditions of Saudi Arabia.

Euro Display is proud of the installation, being a further important step into the Middle-East Market of LED screens for outdoor advertising.
